How We Started

Lincoln Security Services was formed in 2012 with an emphasis on delivering value not only to our customers but to our people. In an industry that is historically stale, old school, and not interested in innovating, this crucial piece is often overlooked. At Lincoln we do not set sail until our entire team is on board, and that includes our treasured front-line team...not just the suits. As a matter of fact, we try not to wear suits around here! Some security companies think team happiness can be obtained by simply throwing incentives and bonuses around to their employees. We believe that team happiness is achieved by genuinely praising, thanking, mentoring, and elevating the people that have truly built this company. We don’t just believe this; we are doing it. At its core, Lincoln was born out of love and respect for people.

Anthony Ramirez

President/CEO

Anthony was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago and attended De La Salle Institute. He is a fourth generation Chicagoan with roots in the Bridgeport neighborhood. He grew up in the security industry having entered it right out of high school. His early years in the industry were spent at McCormick Place where he lead a team that executed the security program for some of the largest trade shows and conferences in the country. In 2012, he founded Lincoln Security Services which has grown rapidly since inception. He is married to his wife Christine, a registered nurse and they are parents to their happy-go-lucky son Parker who is a thriving member of the special needs community. When not protecting the world, Anthony enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, & travel.


Mike Rago

Executive Vice President

Mike began his career at Lincoln as a Security Officer in 2013. Being on the front line, with aspirations to become part of the Management Team, allowed him a unique perspective into Lincoln’s culture and operation. Using this insight, he created, pitched, and was promoted into an Operations Manager role shortly after. From there, he made the most difficult decision of his career, leaving Lincoln to gain more experience. Mike took a Job as a District Manager with one of the largest global security providers where he managed all financial and business operations for multiple vertical markets including the Company’s largest customer in Downtown Chicago. Always wanting to come back to Lincoln, Mike kept in touch with Anthony through the years and returned to Lincoln in 2021. 


As Executive Vice President, Mike uses both his early days on the front line at Lincoln and experience running a security business at a global provider to directly drive and continue the culture, operation, and trajectory of Lincoln.


Deb Kenny

Director of Human Resources

Debra Kenny is the Sr. Director of Human Resources at Lincoln Security Services, LLC. Deb has nearly 20 years of professional Human Resources experience and has led all aspects of HR for Lincoln Security, essentially since its inception. Prior to joining Lincoln, Deb was the Human Resources Director for both a global security organization as well as a niche nuclear security enterprise. Her experience runs deep in compliance as well as developing strong HR management practices.

 

Deb received her BA in HR Management and Business Administration and her MA in Organizational Leadership/Management from Lewis University. She is also a certified Senior Professional HR (SPHR) and SCP-SHRM. She is married to Pat and they enjoy spending time volunteering, traveling and boating with their large family. 


Tyler Ludwig

Director of Sales

Tyler Ludwig is responsible for our sales strategy, channel partnerships, and strategic growth across the US. Tyler was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and enjoys the deep-rooted pride and diverse experiences that Chicago has to offer. He lives for the adventures he goes on every day with Cohen, his best friend and 9yo son. He came to us skilled at successfully identifying critical gaps in markets and sales challenges while implementing strategies, processes, and best practices. He brings experience at developing and growing successful business partnerships and cultivating business opportunities with senior executive leadership and major influencing partners. He has secured contracts with some of the largest companies across the US. He comes to us with a track record of companywide collaboration that had solidified internal cohesion and consecutive P&L double-digit growth.
